This workshop is taught by The Thriving Body Founder Zoe Levine C-PT, Advanced MELT instructor, Restorative Exercise Specialist, and as she likes to say “Stage 4 cancer TREATMENT survivor”.
The MELT Method® (MELT®) is a simple self-treatment designed to help you stay healthy, youthful, and active for a lifetime. Just 10 minutes of MELT three times a week is all you need to become a Hands-Off Bodyworker® and reduce the effects of accumulated tension and stress caused by daily living. This full-body method of self-care can be customized to your particular needs – from improving performance and decreasing the risk of repetitive stress injuries to eliminating chronic pain, regardless of what’s causing your pain in the first place. This workshop brings the benefits of MELT to the cancer world from someone who has lived it herself.
“Zoe’s workshop was a revelation. I had no idea even what it was when I signed up. Little did I know it was the art of self-healing! The workshop makes you honest about all the pain your body is in, but then it relieves you. Amazing.”
“Yoga may harmonize and Pilates may strengthen, but MELT is like giving your body a gift. All those crunchy, creaky, tense, out-of-whack areas in your body get smoothed, soothed and aligned. The result, after one very stress-free hour, is a feeling of ease and rejuvenation. Your neck moves freely, your shoulders ride effortlessly; your posture makes sense again.”
