Yoga is a great way to address back pain because it is a system that addresses the entire body. Besides back pain relief, some other benefits of a yoga practice are: stress reduction, improved sleep, and improved digestion… great motivators to begin or continue a practice.
In this 4 week series you will:
Learn about key joints and muscle areas affecting the spine and how strengthening and increasing flexibility can help reduce back pain
Learn about the impact stress can have on lower back pain and how breathwork can reduce stress, in turn reduce lower back pain
Learn helpful stretching techniques
You will practice learned techniques and at the end of the series, you will be able to take home a simple routine consisting of basic yoga postures to do on your own for sustained back health.
